• Performance Monitor - The Kadett's performance monitor includes measurements of time, number of strokes rowed, stroke rating (with audible setting), pulse, calories burned, automatic display alternation, and target settings. The monitor shows six settings at once, so you don't't have to scroll to track all of your workout statistics. The pulse readout is provided by an included ear clip.
• Outrigger Motion - The Kadett's handles are double-jointed in a unique outrigger design that almost exactly replicates the natural elliptical arc of true rowing. The outrigger design, based on the principles of sculling, trains a wider range of upper-body muscles than the standard dual-piston motion, providing a more complete workout in the same small footprint.
• Resistance Adjustment - The Kadett supports 12 distinct levels of resistance through its twin-piston design, which accommodates a wide range of fitness levels and promotes fitness advancement. You can adjust the resistance for each arm separately; simply turn the knobs at the base of each hydraulic piston to work each arm as desired.
• Resistance Type - Like all rowers with piston resistance, the Kadett has a space-saving frame that is easy to store. Thanks to Kettler manufacturing standards, it boasts a maximum weight capacity of 275 lbs, high among piston rowers. Piston resistance typically represents the entry-level segment of the rowing market, but the Kadett's one-of-a-kind outrigger design simulates the feel of real rowing better than any other piston option.
• Seat - The Kadett's seat is wide and contoured to provide excellent, comfortable, space-efficient support. The seat travels along a snag-free channel to ensure smooth, even motion at all times.
• Footrest - The Kadett has adjustable foot plates for comfort and accommodation of users of different heights.
• Floor Protectors - The Kadett features anti-slip floor protectors to provide maximum floor contact despite its small size. These large blocks help keep the Kadett stable and anchored and protect your floor against scratches and marks. We do recommend a protective mat in addition to the floor protectors to help keep your tile, carpet, or wood floor in pristine condition.
• Storage - The Kadett's rail and front frame do not fold, but the dual-jointed handles fold flat. Great for storage!
