Well built and sturdy, the Stamina is quiet and smooth. Used it about a week now and I could feel it-as it should be when you haven't worked out in a while. I am also using this recumbent bike/rower to help recover my mobility after having surgery to repair a broken fibula.
So far it's helping and it is very easy on the joints. I like the monitor. It is very helpful when watching my time especially.

I walk for exercise and have for years. This doesn't help tone the upper body or core though. Recently, after a shoulder injury, it was time to change course. This machine is well built, sturdy, whisper quiet [...] I read the instructions before attempting assembly and had a second person to read to me as I put it together. It does help to have a second set of hands on two parts, but I was able to get it together well under half an hour. Switching from rower to bike couldn't be any easier and the instructions come with additional strength training exercises. Bonus for an apartment dweller like me. I don't feel the heart rate monitor is accurate as it seems to jump all over the place, but I was planning on buying a separate monitor anyway. Otherwise, the on-board computer works very well. The various tension levels really provide a good workout for me. It definitely pushes back what you push into it. I am very pleased with the quality and value for my money and would have no reservations in recommending this to anyone.

I had never thought a bike and rower could be combined into a single exercise machine. It's so easy to switch from bike to rower and back. Really makes the workout flow easier when you can switch back in forth so quickly. Very quiet too. I'm used to my treadmill, which works fine, but makes a lot of noise. I can hear the TV at normal volume using this bike/rower.

This is a great "all in one" machine. Having the option to use as a rower and a bike helps vary ones workout. The added benefit of using the row bar for strength training is icing on the cake.It has a solid feel (minor scraping sound half way through the row cycle but not distracting) and is stable.

I use this product to rebuild my endurance/strength after too much time off. It is easy to use and low impact, and also provides several exercise options, aside from the rower/bike. It is good for a beginner or someone who needs to maintain a weight goal, if used as a supplement to a regular weight-training and cardio regimine. For someone who is more advanced, the resistance (which is adjustable) may not be enough of a challenge, especially with leg extensions. The cons regarding thing this product are that I'm 5'3" and I am JUST able to reach the pedals of the bike, but I have to scoot down pretty far on the seat, it isn't terribly uncomfortable, but I'd prefer to be slightly less reclined. Also, the instructions can be vague and hardware descriptions were inaccurate on mine. At one time I was instructed to "press" something into place-I needed thick cardboard and a hammer! It also advises to lay out hardware to make sure all is included, however it informs that some is already on preassembled parts, it does not tell which. Therefore, when asked to use hex cap bolts, 4 on two different occassions, I had none. They had meant screw cap bolt. This had caused me an uneccessary trip to the hardware store. Fortunately it was an inexpensive trip! All-in-all I am pleased with this purchase.

As an engineer, I was very impressed with the design. It nicely mates the rower and bike. I'm 6'-1" and they each work well for me. Quality seams okay for the price. It's definitely not gym quality, but for use of 3 or 4 times a week at 30 minutes or so, I would expect it to last several years. Overall I got everything I expected out of it and have used it now for a couple of weeks.The only functional problem or defect I've experienced with it is the top plastic cover through which the rower strap passes. As a result of its fabrication, it has sharp edges pointed toward the strap. After finding out the hard way, I had to put electrical tape on the edges to prevent FURTHER fraying of the strap. Sanding them down would have worked also. The company did send a replacement strap.[...]

This is pretty much the perfect machine for our house. I needed something quiet so I didn't wake up the kids with workouts early in the morning, and my wife wanted something low impact she could use while reading or watching tv. I love the magnetic resistance as opposed to a flywheel because it's impossible to get momentum in your favor- it stays the same resistance, every time; maintaining the challenge. I'm a big guy, and it's super stable underneath me. The combo of rowing and biking is perfect if you need an easy way to bring interval training into your home gym, too. It was also possibly the easiest assembly of anything I've ever brought home.

This is the most compact and efficient exercise product to date. I have used this machine for two months now and I am a happy user. Here are some good things. 1. The setup is easy, took me little over hour with detailed reading. The instruction manual can be little better with more diagrams but it's OK. 2. The design and quality are good. I would not give it a professional Gym equipment quality but it's good addition to your home gym. 3. The bicycle and rower are good. The machine is quiet. 4. The heart rate monitor is accurate. I have a wireless heart monitor and same rate is captured pretty quickly on this machine. Even on the expensive treadmill in the fitness center, it takes more time when you hold the handle. 5. There are strength training exercises given on the instruction manual. Those are good. 6. The seat is comfortable. I was impressed by comfort and convenience using it. 7. It easily folds upwards and saves space. Here are some cons. 1.When I started the machine for the first time, it gave a huge squeaking noise. Upon examination, I saw a scratch on the main bar. the seat hook was scratching on the bar. I had to hammer it on the side. Then it was OK. I wonder this is a manufacturing defect or some damage during transport. 2. Need to add more resistance. On the highest level it's not that hard to row. 3. It had some weird smell. After a while I realized the seat was stinking. Had to spray the deodorizer. I would give 4.5 stars just for the reasons above. I would recommend it for your home exercise. it did wobble a bit when we got it, but putting a small piece of cardboard under one "leg" seemed to fix the problem. I was not all that thrilled that it didn't work just as I wanted, but with assembling it ourselves I guess one can expect everything to not be put together "just so" to ensure nothing like this happens.

The only drawback I have found is when you go to move it around, it doesn't slide very easily. I store in the corner of my livingroom and when I go to use, I have to pull out away from the wall. It has wheels on the bottom front bar, but when moving on carpet it doesn't roll easily. Otherwise, this is a great product for anyone looking to get in shape or stay in shape.

I've had this about a week and a half. In that time, two of us have been using it every day for more than an hour. Excellent exercise equipment. The versatility is very nice, going from rowing to biking to just using the tension for exercising.

I did not find it difficult to put together at all, and only took about half an hour tops.

Also, the tension is really quite good. It is almost too much tension for the stand-up type exercises for my girlfriend. As we gain strength, no doubt it will be easier, but I am rowing on tension 3 and biking on tension 4-5 and the tension goes all the way up to 10.

The rower may not be long enough for a very tall person, but works fine for me and I am six feet.

Very quite operation and very sturdy.

My only complaint is that the computer shows distance in miles, and I cannot convert to feet or meters. So, that display may be useful to see what you rowed when you are done, but I am accustomed to watching the meters while I row. Since it changes so seldomly, I now find myself just watching the time. Oh.. and ESPN. Love working out in my room.

This was relatively easy to assemble, though a second set of hands would have helped. I did manage by myself, though, and was riding within a couple of days of receiving it. I've rowed and biked all but one day since, and while it's not helping on the weight loss yet, my back does feel stronger already. Most importantly, the problems I was having with my joints on my treadmill are not at all evident with this machine.

It is not as easy to move/store as I had hoped, but I finally put the base on a small rug, which does allow me to slide it fairly easily across the floor.

I bought this for my dad. He tragically, unexpectedly became totally blind this summer. He was very active before this happened. I wanted to get him something to keep active. Now that it is all running smoothly we are very happy with our purchase and I feel it will give many years of service.

The digital readout probably gives an accurate reading of speed, distance and time, but there is no change in calories burned whether it is set to 1 or 8 on resistance but it is nice to think of the weight sliding off as the numbers climb? also the pulse monitor gives some wild readings, if any, depending on how the contacts are gripped.

This rower/encumbent bicycle exerciser was fairly easy to assemble (and I'm a 56 yo not so mechanically inclined female)and I love that it's a 2 in 1 machine! The minium distance to pedals does not easily accomodate shorter people (I'm 5'3" and have a hard time reaching the pedals with full leg extention even with seat all the way forward)

This is a good product, I am 5'6, and it is a great rower for my height, however my husband who is 6'3 cant get a full extension. I wouldn't suggest this for anyone who is over 6'1. Out side of that it is a good rower, easy to put together, sturdy and quiet.

I postponed assembling my rower/bike, thinking it would be frustrating and take a long time to do by myself. I was wrong! It went together really easily: instructions and tools and parts and illustrations were just fine and the 'daunting task' turned into a pleasant, empowering experience.
It's much quieter than I expected, too. Smooth, fluid movement makes the rowing comfortable and silent, so I can pay attention to other things while I exercise, if I want to.
I don't care so much about the digital readouts, so I'm not a good reviewer on those functions.
Solid, sturdy construction makes this a smart purchase as well as a good fitness investment; and leaves me with the satisfying feeling my money was really well-spent on this machine.

Overall we are very happy with the performance of the bike/rowing machine. The machine works as advertised and my wife likes it a lot. I use it occasionally and am happy with it. It was easy to put together and feels failry sturdy. I anticipate it lasting for years with normal use and making sure whatever needs to be lubed, is.

We keep this in our living room...it is quiet to use while watching tv and so we actually use it.

The reason it is so quiet, is the fabric belt instead of bicycle rackets, I think. So there is no grinding.

We like how easy it is to adjust the seat when changing from biking to rowing. The readout showing your calories burned, distance you went, heart rate, speed (MPH), amount of time you have been exercising helps make the workout fun and challenging.

I have a treadmill and an elliptical and wanted a rowing machine as well. Getting the recumbent bike was a great bonus. I exercise 5-6 times a week and wanted to add a little more variety to my exercise equipment. I did a lot of research and decided to go with this product and I am not sorry I did. The display is big and easy to read, the tension setting is great and effects both the bike part and the rowing part. The machine is quiet and sturdy. The seat glides back and forth easily and is quiet as is the bike portion. The only down side I have found with this is while trying to get your heart rate, if you are a wider based person, it is hard to get your hands in the right position on the bar that measures your heart rate. I have purchased Stamina exercise products in the past and never been disappointed, and this is another great testimony to their products.[...] I highly recommend this item.

This machine is extremely quiet and I love being able to switch easily between rowing and cycling. I have only 2 small complaints: first, the resistance is a bit heavy and even at the lowest resistance level, rowing takes a lot of strength; second, the seat adjustments for cycling just barely go close enough for me to use (I'm 5'2") and if I was any shorter, I'm not sure I'd be able to comfortably cycle. Otherwise, this seems to be a very well-built and well-designed machine.

I have had rowers in the past which were either huge but effective, or small and as good as useless! This is small, compact, foldable, and as good as the large professional ones. I love it. I also like the recumbent bike, also effective and quick and easy to change modes.
Absolutely recommend it.

I love to use the rower function while watching a movie on tv. The bicycling funtion is great for reading a book. Combining a rower and a stationary cycle is a gret idea! Half the space, almost half the cost of the two combined, and both use the same efficient and quiet magnetic resistance wheel.
