This Wesco Steel Platform Truck is constructed for either standard corner or diamond caster mounting pattern. It has removable two cross-brace handle that can be inserted in either end. It is a fairly solid design for my weight (158lbs), and easy to assemble.
The row-arms fold in the center for easy storage on floor or against wall.
Foot pedals feel flimsy but serve their purpose in holding my feet.
The piston is surprising quiet and effective in variable tension.
For a small NYC apartment, this rower is truly fantastic in providing cardio exercises anytime of day for me. In fact, I use it 2-3 times a day, ranging from 5 to 20 minutes each time.
For the price, it is a very good deal for impromptu and good cardio training.
Buy it!

I bought this rowing machine as a means to stay fit. It is okay. it has a very limited range of motion and non-realistic rowing action. It is, however, a good, fairly sturdy machine that is easy to use and can give you a good workout.

Listen, my wife's got me writing reviews and reading them so I want to do my part. I got really out of shape taking care of two older parents (I'm 34 they're in their 70s). I have/ had several pinched nerves and terrible knee problems. I swear, after one night of using it, I feel no pain from my lower left back which made it darn near impossible to stand up after just sitting. I'm walking up stairs with little problems and I already feel more fit.

I use this product each night before bed. I enjoy sitting in front of the TV and exercising in my own home. The arm movements are very much like real rowing. It was a little difficult to put together, but once it was completed, it is sturdy and feels of high quality.

I use this rower three times a week. There is plenty of resistance, lot's of room for me to improve. It's light weight and doesn't take up much space, and it shows no signs of wear after six or so months of use. A great product at a great price, I'm very pleased with it.

I bought this rower online from the United States, I couldn't buy it in Canada. I had one at the gym that I used to go to, I had looked for over 2 years to buy one in Canada. The price I paid was phenomenal, with all the fees paid for crossing the border, I still paid about half of what it would have cost for a rower in Saskatchewan. I have given up my gym membership, I now own a Stamino exercise bike and a stamina rowing machine, I couldn't be any happier, and hope soon to be a little smaller

I chose the 1400 Air Rower because it provides an overall workout without stress to my arthritic knees and ankles. For many of us 40 and older, we have aches/pains or old injuries in those areas and avoid exercise for that reason. Even walking will aggravate my joints! I was frustrated knowing I needed to do some daily exercise and yet I was not doing anything. I didn't want gym fees plus the extra time and gas just to go back and forth to a gym. There had to be an option for my home! And so my search began for the right type of exercise solution. I do not like recumbent bikes so I decided to shop on-line for a rowing machine. I made my choice for a heavy duty model with a long rowing stroke since I am quite tall. I receive an all over aerobic work-out and can make it easier or tougher according to rowing intensity.It is not tall and bulky looking - where it stays in my guest bedroom. It is simple to use and I like it![...]I am pleased with my purchase made February 2008.

The problem with this machine is keeping your feet strapped in. The straps don't keep your feet from coming out while rowing. My husband had to create additional straps on it for me, otherwise I would not have been able to use it. My foot is a size 8 and I use athletic shoes while using the machine, so it cannot be from having small feet or incorrect shoes. The machine would be good if not for this problem. I would recommend choosing another model.

I used this product for about two weeks, 30 minutes everyday. After two weeks the left piston broke. Makes the whole thing worthless. Two weeks of use and it broke. Don't waste your money on this item.
